Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 myself together with 5 Italian friends felt compelled to help our own country in whatever way we could.
Because I am a fashion designer I decided to start making adult and children double sided cotton face masks to raise money for the very effected ICU department in Parma, Italy. We use mainly my Instagram channel to promote the fundraising campaign. With the help of my 5 friends we could answer to the high demand so we started calling ourself "Emmeviloves and the Rainbow Team".
We made the national Italian press, local TV and 2 regional newspapers too! WE REALLY GOT EXCITED AT THAT POINT.
We managed to raise and donate £6,000 for the Maggiore Hospital in Parma, ITALY.
As soon as we hit our target in Italy we felt we wanted to do the same for the UK and we decided to raise money for our local Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester.
Needles to say that it has been overwhelmigly beautiful for us to see the generosity of all the people that have supported us, we feel profoundly grateful.
Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts xxxx
