Hello,
I would like to share with you a fundraising campaign I am part of.
Because 2 of us work in fashion we decided to start making adult and children double sided cotton face masks to raise money for the very effected ICU of the Hospital in Parma, Italy.
We are 6 women (Maria-Vittoria, Alessandra, Carmen, Francesca, Annamaria, Cinzia) busy cutting, matching and sewing as well as advertising and posting all these lovely and most importantly necessary face masks in this unprecedented moment.
We have managed to raise and donate 7K 🙏🏻
We would love to keep raising money now for our local ICU at Wythenshawe Hospital mainly to support the mental and physical wellbeing of its amazing staff in this difficult time and we hope that with the help of our amazing community we can truly make a difference here in the UK and thank the NHS staff concretely. We have raised 10K so far!

[Suggested donation is £12 per mask but feel free to donate more, the FULL AMOUNT will be given.]

DISCLOSURE INFORMATION
- Our masks are not surgical masks or N95 (those should be reserved for health professionals), our masks are reusable in double layer cotton.
- You must wash them in warm water and soap after every use or iron them at high temperature
- You should still respect the 2 metres distancing rule and all the government guidelines. Masks are only effective if combined with frequent hand-washing.
- Face masks don't give us immunity but it's proven that wearing them does limit the risk and spread of contagion*
*"Key messages
- The precautionary principle states we should sometimes act without definitive evidence, just in case
- Whether masks will reduce transmission of covid-19 in the general public is contested
- Even limited protection could prevent some transmission of covid-19 and save lives
- Because covid-19 is such a serious threat, wearing masks in public should be advised"
